Winter Camporee

The pipes are frozen solid, the car won’t start, and the dog’s got his tongue frozen to the food bowl... Hey! Let’s go camping!  Join us January 22-24 at the Bellevue Rod and Gun Club for a full day and evening of activities.  Three hot meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are provided if you pay by January 18th!  The cost for Scouts and adults is $20.  Attendance is limited to 150 youth.  For more information contact Bill Stott at 551‑3400 or bstott@thearchitecturaloffices.com

100 Pints of Blood

The MAC and the American Red Cross are teaming up to commemorate the Centennial of Scouting with the 100 Pints of Blood for 100 Years of Scouting Campaign. 100 Years of Scouting Centennial Celebration

Let’s get together and rededicate ourselves to Scouting the Boy Scout Way.  Join us on Feb 8th at 6:30pm at St. Gerald Church, 96th and Q.  There will be Scouting history, guest speakers, uniform review, rededication ceremony and more.

Pre-Order the Mid-America Council History Book, "Scouting Our Story - A look back at 100 years of Scouting in the Mid-America Council." The book will be finished soon and we are now taking pre-orders. Order by January 31, 2010 and save! Hardcover is $29.99 (reg. $34.99) and paperback is $19.99 (reg. $24.99).

Eagle Project Approvals

Eagle projects must be approved by the District project coordinator before you start work on the project. Our District project coordinator is Tim Robertson. He can be contacted at 731-5001 or oa97tim@cox.net. You must schedule a review meeting with Mr. Robertson at least two weeks before you plan to start your Eagle Project.
