We will once again participate in Ralston's annual 4th of July parade. Meet at Don and Millie's at noon. Wear your uniform and a hat, also remember to bring water.
Pull out your class B uniform for the July Roundtable. There will be no Scout Trek for July.
Come to the August Roundtable and receive information on Sign up for Scouting, Training, Popcorn, Scout University of Scouting and much more. See you there.
Scouting is a 12-month program, so don't forget to plan activities for the summer months. Your Den and Pack can earn the National Summertime Award by 50% of the boys participating in at least one activity a month during June, July and August. For more details see the application at the Scout office or the article in the Bugle.
Our 2008 Campaign is upon us. FOS presentations are held at Blue and Gold Banquets and Courts of Honor. If you haven't already turning in the date you are having your FOS presentation, please contact Tim Varney as soon as possible at 934-6622 or mariandtim@cox.net.

Eagle projects must be approved by the District project coordinator before you start work on the project. Our District project coordinator is Tim Robertson. He can be contacted at 731-5001 or oa97tim@cox.net. You must schedule a review meeting with Mr. Robertson at least two weeks before you plan to start your Eagle Project.
Everyone should now be family with entering all of the Scout's advancement online. The site is linked on the MAC website mac-bsa.org. All units are encouraged to have all their records updated monthly and a copy submitted to the Mid America Council for your unit's permanent file. There is another sleepover available at Rosenblatt Stadium on Saturday, July 19th at 7:00 Cost is $20 per scout age 7-18. Registration forms can be found online at mac-bsa.org. For questions, please contact Eric McGuire at 431-9BSA.
Demystifying Scouting is coming November 8th at Boys Town. Make plans to attend this great event.
It's never too early to start thinking about popcorn. If you have not turned in a commitment card, please do so at the June/July Roundtable. If your unit does not yet have a popcorn Kernel, turn in the name of a person who will pass the information to the rest of your unit and eventually the new popcorn kernel.
